 The Earth Is the LORD’S (April 22, 2024) 

“Ah, Lord God! Behold, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and outstretched arm. There is nothing too hard for you.” (Jeremiah 32:17) 

Behold the beauty of God’s magnificent creations as we observe Earth Day on April 22nd. God crafted the earth as a perfect paradise that came under a curse when sin entered the world because of mankind’s rebellion against the Creator of the universe. But God in His mercy provided for humanity’s redemption through faith in the virgin birth, death, burial, and resurrection of His Son Jesus Christ to save all believers from their sins.

 One day the paradise that was lost in the Garden of Eden will be restored when Jesus returns to earth to break the curse and reclaim the title deed to this planet that Adam surrendered to Satan. The natural springtime splendor that we enjoy today will not even begin to compare with the indescribable beauty of the new heaven and the new earth that those who trust in Christ will inhabit eternally, the first heaven and the first earth having passed away! 

As we admire and seek to preserve God’s majestic earthly works on this Earth Day, let’s worship the Almighty Creator, not His masterful creations!

  Simply Believe! ( November 2, 2023) “ Lord, I believe; help my unbelief!” (Mark 9:24) Unfortunately, our Christian faith can fluctuate with the changing circumstances of our lives? We are flawed like all human beings, and our trust in God often ebbs or flows depending upon whether or not we’re experiencing happy times or life’s trials. Satan constantly attempts to deceive us, draw us astray in our walk by faith with God, and bring about our ultimate downfall and defeat.
