How grateful I am for the presence of Jesus in my heart and life, now and eternally! Christ is the "author and finisher of our faith" (Hebrews 12:2) through which believers gain access to God's grace and receive His precious gift of everlasting life. Now, we walk by faith and not by sight, but one day we will see our Lord and Savior face to face and spend eternity with Him. What a most wonderful hope that we have in Jesus Christ! Praise God!

“For surely there is a hereafter, and your hope will not be cut off.” (Proverbs 23:18) Bidding farewell to a challenging year and welcoming with hope a new one, I thank God for His presence, His peace, and His power in my life as a Christian. Even in times of suffering and hardship, the followers of Jesus Christ know by faith that God is in control and working all of the circumstances of our lives for ultimate good because we love Him and seek to express it through trusting obedience and humble service. Our hope in the New Year and eternally is in Christ!    In the New Year let us seek to be faithful stewards of the precious time and the valuable resources that the LORD has entrusted to us to invest in the expansion of His heavenly kingdom. In the inexhaustible strength and all-sufficient grace of an Almighty God, we can hopefully and confidently face the uncertainties of 2023 and claim eternal victory in Christ the LORD, our trustworthy Savior, who, living in us, is ou...

A Time for Rest ( March 20, 2024) “ Rest in the  Lord , and wait patiently for Him. ” (Psalm 37:7) Successful lives are built on a foundation of vision, hard work, and perseverance. A strong work ethic has always been an integral part of the pursuit of the American dream. However, we should never neglect the fact that these physical bodies get tired and it is vitally important to give them rest that renews the strength needed to press toward our goals. Someone once said, “Rest is not idleness…(and) is by no means a waste of time.” Living productive and fulfilling lives requires a balance of diligent work and reviving rest. Proper repose recharges our physical, mental, and spiritual batteries and allows us to avoid burnout that drains our stamina, zeal, and creativity! Jesus recognized the importance of making adequate time for rest and relaxation. As Christ conducted His earthly ministry of powerful preaching, insightful teaching, and miraculous works, huge thr...

A Lesson in Loyalty ( November 20, 2025) “ Through  the  Lord ’s mercies we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. They are  new every morning; great  is  Your faithfulness.” (Lamentations 3:22-23) One admirable quality that is increasingly disappearing from human relationships of the 21 st century is loyalty, faithfulness to each other and to God. In today’s faithless culture, people tend to shun long-term commitments, especially in marriage and the family. In a materialistic, self-centered, and immoral world, we need to be careful where our loyalties and allegiances lie. As Christians who’ve been commanded to be witnesses of God’s boundless love and saving grace, we must make sure our lives speak of our loyalty and faithfulness to Christ despite Satan’s ceaseless attempts to persuade us to go the way of the world. A biblical lesson in loyalty is the story of Ruth, the Moabite daughter-in-law of the Jewish woman Naomi. Becaus...
