 That's Grace (October 3, 2024)

"For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them." (Ephesians" (Ephesians 2:8-10)
Repentant sinners are not saved by good works; they are saved for good works that serve other people and glorify the gracious God of all creation. There is no more precious gift than the salvation that is offered to everyone by the grace of God alone. But the only way to receive God's all-sufficient grace is through faith in Jesus Christ, who died, was buried, and rose again that whosoever will might be saved! We should praise and thank God every day for the eternal salvation that is offered everyone and given as a priceless gift to believers exclusively on the basis of what Christ has done for for us, not because of anything we can do. That's grace!

                                              A Christmas Message of Hope ( December 25, 2023) “Blessed is the man who trusts in the  Lord , and whose hope is the  Lord .” (Jeremiah 17:7) Christmas is the season of hope! As Christians around the world celebrate the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ, we can rejoice in the hope that is ours because the Son of God chose to set aside His heavenly glory, enter humanity, and, in obedience to His Father’s will, fulfill a divine purpose. Because of Christmas, believers have a present and eternal hope without which our earthly lives would be meaningless and devoid of purpose.   Simply Believe! ( November 2, 2023) “ Lord, I believe; help my unbelief!” (Mark 9:24) Unfortunately, our Christian faith can fluctuate with the changing circumstances of our lives? We are flawed like all human beings, and our trust in God often ebbs or flows depending upon whether or not we’re experiencing happy times or life’s trials. Satan constantly attempts to deceive us, draw us astray in our walk by faith with God, and bring about our ultimate downfall and defeat. However, we must remember that He who is in us—Jesus Christ living in our hearts through the Holy Spirit— “is greater than he who is in the world.” (1 John 4:4) Simply believe!
