 “Render therefore to all their due: taxes to whom taxes are due, customs to whom customs, fear to whom fear, honor to whom honor.” (Romans 13:7)

Today, our duty as freedom-loving Americans is to render the honor that is due the veterans and soldiers of this great nation. Their selflessness, sacrifice, commitment to service helped to secure and protect the liberties with which we’ve been blessed like no other people on earth. To all of the courageous veterans of our community and our country, I thank you from the depths of my heart for your exemplary service to the United States. On this Veterans Day and beyond, may God continue to bless America! To the LORD alone is due our reverent respect (fear) and highest honor and glory.

“You therefore must endure hardship as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. No one engaged in warfare entangles himself with the affairs of this life, that he may please him who enlisted him as a soldier.” (2 Timothy 2:3-4)

  A Rightly Motivated Heart ( October 25, 2023) “ Every way of a man is right in his own eyes, but the  Lord  weighs the hearts. ” (Proverbs 21:2) When a serious crime is committed and a suspect is arrested, investigators search to identify a motive in the case. All human behavior is driven by motives that underlie our actions. The real reasons that we do what we do can be obvious or obscure. The Bible says that the human heart is deceitful above all things and desperately wicked.
