 Veteran’s Day Salute and Tribute (November 11, 2025)

“Render therefore to all their due: taxes to whom taxes are due, customs to whom customs, fear to whom fear, honor to whom honor.” (Romans 13:7)
Today, our duty as freedom-loving Americans is to render the honor that is due the veterans and soldiers of this great nation. Their selflessness, sacrifice, and commitment to service helped to secure and protect the liberties with which we’ve been blessed like no other people on earth. To all of the courageous veterans of our community and our country, I thank you from the depths of my heart for your exemplary service to the United States of America.
On this Veterans Day and every day, may God continue to bless America and its true heroes! As we honor our living veterans and pay tribute to the legacy of those who have dearly departed, let’s remember that our God is worthy and due our highest honor and our most reverent respect. As believers and soldiers of the cross of Jesus Christ, let us march forth, faithfully seeking to magnify God’s glory by the way that we share His love and serve one another in the midst of the spiritual warfare that is raging around us.
“You therefore must endure hardship as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. No one engaged in warfare entangles himself with the affairs of this life, that he may please him who enlisted him as a soldier.” (2 Timothy 2:3-4)

  The Fountain of Living Water ( May 11, 2023)   “I am the Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give of the fountain of water of life freely to him who thirsts.” (Revelation 21:6)   In pursuit of physical gratification, many people thirst for the waters of this world (possessions, pleasures, and power) that soon evaporate, leaving them empty and thirsting for more. Jesus Christ is the fountain of living spiritual water that never runs dry and satisfies eternally. Our Savior invites us to refresh our souls with this living water. Jesus said, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink.   Greet Each Day with Gratitude and Gladness ( March 18, 2024) At the start of and throughout each day, we should all resolve to rejoice with gratitude and gladness for the blessing and beauty of every moment we’re given by a gracious, loving God. Probably penned by King David, the psalmist of ancient Israel, Psalm 118 reminds us that every day is a gift of God that should be celebrated with joy and thanksgiving. Familiarly, the psalmist wrote in verse 24: “This is the day the  Lord  has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it. ” Each new day of life is a fresh expression of God’s boundless grace and love for you and me, and we are to receive it with joyful gladness.
